Advantages of Living in a Dormitory

In the modern society, when students get permission into high schools or universities, the problem is that do they still live in home even though schools are far from their home? For students, living in a dormitory can be a good way to solve the problem. There are four advantages of living in a dormitory: don’t waste time, enhance my independence, convenient to study in group or to do social activities, and the price are cheaper.
First, students who live far from school don’t have to spend time on commutation. For instance, even though my home is in Hsin-Chu, where is just close to the border with Tao-Yuan. It takes me more than an hour only to go back to Hsin-Chu by bus. Instead, I can use this hour to do things more meaningful, such as studying, doing research, and so on.
Second, living in a dormitory can make students grow independent and take responsibility for themselves. That is to say, they are not only supposed to learn how to look after their lives without parents, but also are supposed to learn skills to survive in their future. Take me for example; when graduate from university, I am officially stepping into society and I already am an adult, hence, I ought to know how to compromise with others, how to deal with our quarrels, even how to get along with others.
Furthermore, it is so convenient to live in a dormitory, especially for the university students. Owing to universities just like a small society, students in universities constantly attend clubs and the schools hold activities from time to time, such as speeches, dramas, and so on. When living in a dormitory, students can reach places where the activities hold and join them immediately. Including me, as a member of Hot Dance Club, I have to practice my dancing nearly for four days per week. After the club, all I have to do is quickly go back my dormitory and take a rest.
The last but most of people will take it into consideration is that living in a dormitory is much cheaper than renting an apartment outside the school. For instance, living in the dormitory of Chang Gung University a semester only costs around 8000, however, renting an apartment nearby the Chang Gung Hospital a month costs at least 6000. What is worst, it doesn’t include the bills of electronic and water.
All in all, living in a dormitory can be a good way for students when studying. Why not give it a try to make students’ life more convenient and being more socialized since become university students?

Today was Christmas Eve !!

For annual, the Christmas's coming

is so happy. However,

this year is unusual.

Maybe it was my first year in university,

and i didn't manage my time so well

that i did the English report almost all night!!

That is, I didn't sleep until 4'o clock.

Ohhhhhh, it was really tired.

I think I have to manage my time

well as soon as possible,

or I will be tired again and again.

The Night Market Near The NTNU~~

12/19/2008 Friday

Today, after the class at 2'o clock.
Three of my friends and I went back to the dorm,

got prepared for the coming time

--The Night Market near the NTNU.

After an hour's rush hour,

it was around 8'o clock,

we finally reached the NTNU.

To my a little disappointment,

the NTNU Night market

are just few rodes,

less than five, not as I excepted.

Even though it was Friday today, it still very crowded.

I can't hardly breath!!!

However, after all, the night market near the NTNU

is famous for it's food.

Actually, it's stinky tofu tastes pretty good.

Yes, i was finally been to the night market

that is aready well nown.

This day was the day that Hot Dance Club

showed *what they have learned* in this semester.

Due to preparing for the midtern test,

I didn't dance on the stage.

Instead of feeling pity,

I felt that I was proud of them,

having a successful performance.

"Jazz for Freshmen":

Even though they only have learned

only few months, around 3 months,

they still kept practicing to be perfect.

I know that it's a sort of difficult

to dance well, because we need a flexible

body, and when dancing, we should practice

our eye to make ourselves sexy.

Senior classmate always tell us

that we are supposed to think

ourselves the most beautiful girl in this group,

to make us confident.

All in all, they made it!!

I was really happy for them.

My birthday !!

Today was my *19 years-old* birthday : ))

It was really awesome !!

At first, my friends told me that

they don't have enough money

since they held the first birthday celebration.

Besides, some of them didn't want come

back from their home.

But somehow they held for me secretly.

To my surprise, at first they only

bought me snacks and wish me

"Happy Birthday", with a camera pretended by hand.

After a while, they bought me a real cake.

What a suprise :))

Ohhhhh, it was really a nice day !!

A New Taste !!

Today, my friend and I went to

*Starbucks Coffee Shop*, having a cup

of coffee to warm up our body

in such a freezing day.

The picture above is a new on the market cake.

It's a chocolate

cake

with candyflosses on the surface,

and the brownie on the bottom.

Wow, it tasted new:

the upper part was sweet

and the brownie was a little bit bitter ~~

All in all, it tasted good but it was so expensive : ((

It cost $75 NT only for a piece of cake!!

It's time to give back : ))

This year, in winter vacation.

The Hot Dance Club and The Piano club

and my club, whoses members are all from Hsin-Chu in Chang Gung

University will go back Hsin-Chu and go to *Hu Lin Primary School*

The main goal is that we feel like putting our efforts to

show our concern about our hometown and

spread our passion and energy.

To let them have more useful knowledges than textbooks,

We designed numerals of activities,

whoes contants are about history of Hsin-Chu,

the insects in their school, a knowledge of science,

the issue of protecting environment,

and a small technique about painting, and so on.

Wow, it is my first time to accompany the elementary school

students having a winter vacation.

I am so excited about this and can't wait for it's coming !!

Today, we saw a hit movie mounthes ago,

which is called"Music And Lyrics" :))

I thought it was a really great movie,

even if there are words that i don't know.

Indeed, the movie made a lot of echoes,

that is to say, the song of the movie was *popular* then,

whenever i went on street, i heard it many times.

Now, i finally see the movie : ))

And the most important is that I can appreciate the English accent

,which is so called the beautiful accent in English.

Wow, it sounds awesome!!

Having dinner with my school brother !!

11.6. 2008. Thusday

Today, my

friends and

I had dinner

with our school

brothers whoes number are directly on ours.

We dinned at the *S.Paul Steakhouse*.

Well, what could I say more about it. The steak

really delicious. By the way, i never ate a Medium

degree stake until today : P

Due to i seldom go to a stakehouse, i didn't know what degree would taste good.

And one of my school brother told me to order a medium degree.

Even though I thought the steak still had blood and still taste a little raw.

However, if i never try it, how should i know it tastes bad?

Any way, it's not that bad than I expected.

After that, we began playing *cards* .

My school sister once said that

playing games can make us know each other more quickly

wow, it proved that !!

All in all, It was an awesome night : ))

To mourn over the person i respect so much 's death : ((

Is so sad when I heard this news that the founder of
our school *passed away*. It really shocked me.
A few days ago, my educational class's teacher said
"Is an end of a generation if an important died."
As respected, it really happened.
Unfortunately, I still can't spare time to see him
for the last time. Oh, it's just on the Activity Center : ((
Hence, I decide, no matter how busy I am or how tired I am,
I will make time to mourn over his death.
It is for sure :P

Hot dance ~~

Woww, as beginning of the semester : ))

I made my mind to join the hot dance club :P

(For seeing my school-sisters dance, it's so amazing!!)

However, because i am a biginner, it's a little bit difficult

for me to dance well.

By the way, next month, we will show the dance to everybody!

Thus, i will put all my efforts on it : ))

On 10.23.Thursday

Due to tomorrow we only have one class in the afternoon,

guys decided to go out at 11:30 to have bowling all night !!

For me, i never done this before, just play all night and don't sleep.

However, two of my friends who will have *birthday* on Friday will attend.

What's more, it's a great experience to have fun like that : ))

Ohhhhh, as I expected. It really was a wonderful night; we *laughed* all night,

played all night, and had fun all night, what would it be better?

After that, we went to the 85°c caffe' shop.

To have a *birthday celebration* for my friends.

Wow : P i think after i go back my dorm, i will sleep like a pig,

don't wake up until 12:00 ~~

Wow, i never find that it's a good place !!

On Octorber, 19, 2008

We went to an Italian food restaurant

where is just around the Chang- Gung hospital.

As we went back by the school bus and got off.

An IDEAR suddenly appeared.

Due to the 9-floor of Management Building is so *famous* that

we desided to go there.

At there, we found that it is such a good place to appreciate the

scene.

Ohhhh, it is so beautiful at night.

I think that it's a suitable place for couples, of course : ))

Because before we got there, we saw two couples there.

However, they went away before long.

(I think our laugh and loud voice made them away : P)

In all, it really is a good place to go and relieve our pressur !!

Free writing

I just had my physic text finished yesterday. And to my happiness, I finally attended my club. In face, it had started two weeks ago. However, I can’t attended the club. Because there were too many things I had to do, I could not learn new dance completely. I usually missed the club’s class. But there are too good teacher like classmates or sisters teach me. I thanks them many much, and I will learn hard .
But I think I need to manage my time well in the university because there will be many things for me in the future. The time in a one month I have a hard feeling that the time management is really important. So I should manage my time well. So that I can do something what I want to do. And I can have a wonderful life in university.
