Advantages of Living in a Dormitory

In the modern society, when students get permission into high schools or universities, the problem is that do they still live in home even though schools are far from their home? For students, living in a dormitory can be a good way to solve the problem. There are four advantages of living in a dormitory: don’t waste time, enhance my independence, convenient to study in group or to do social activities, and the price are cheaper.
First, students who live far from school don’t have to spend time on commutation. For instance, even though my home is in Hsin-Chu, where is just close to the border with Tao-Yuan. It takes me more than an hour only to go back to Hsin-Chu by bus. Instead, I can use this hour to do things more meaningful, such as studying, doing research, and so on.
Second, living in a dormitory can make students grow independent and take responsibility for themselves. That is to say, they are not only supposed to learn how to look after their lives without parents, but also are supposed to learn skills to survive in their future. Take me for example; when graduate from university, I am officially stepping into society and I already am an adult, hence, I ought to know how to compromise with others, how to deal with our quarrels, even how to get along with others.
Furthermore, it is so convenient to live in a dormitory, especially for the university students. Owing to universities just like a small society, students in universities constantly attend clubs and the schools hold activities from time to time, such as speeches, dramas, and so on. When living in a dormitory, students can reach places where the activities hold and join them immediately. Including me, as a member of Hot Dance Club, I have to practice my dancing nearly for four days per week. After the club, all I have to do is quickly go back my dormitory and take a rest.
The last but most of people will take it into consideration is that living in a dormitory is much cheaper than renting an apartment outside the school. For instance, living in the dormitory of Chang Gung University a semester only costs around 8000, however, renting an apartment nearby the Chang Gung Hospital a month costs at least 6000. What is worst, it doesn’t include the bills of electronic and water.
All in all, living in a dormitory can be a good way for students when studying. Why not give it a try to make students’ life more convenient and being more socialized since become university students?

Tired Night At Christmas Eve~

Today was Christmas Eve !!

For annual, the Christmas's coming

is so happy. However,

this year is unusual.

Maybe it was my first year in university,

and i didn't manage my time so well

that i did the English report almost all night!!

That is, I didn't sleep until 4'o clock.

Ohhhhhh, it was really tired.

I think I have to manage my time

well as soon as possible,

or I will be tired again and again.

The Night Market Near The NTNU~~

12/19/2008 Friday

Today, after the class at 2'o clock.
Three of my friends and I went back to the dorm,

got prepared for the coming time

--The Night Market near the NTNU.

After an hour's rush hour,

it was around 8'o clock,

we finally reached the NTNU.

To my a little disappointment,

the NTNU Night market

are just few rodes,

less than five, not as I excepted.

Even though it was Friday today, it still very crowded.

I can't hardly breath!!!

However, after all, the night market near the NTNU

is famous for it's food.

Actually, it's stinky tofu tastes pretty good.

Yes, i was finally been to the night market

that is aready well nown.

My shoes, my world !!

This day was the day that Hot Dance Club

showed *what they have learned* in this semester.

Due to preparing for the midtern test,

I didn't dance on the stage.

Instead of feeling pity,

I felt that I was proud of them,

having a successful performance.

"Jazz for Freshmen":

Even though they only have learned

only few months, around 3 months,

they still kept practicing to be perfect.

I know that it's a sort of difficult

to dance well, because we need a flexible

body, and when dancing, we should practice

our eye to make ourselves sexy.

Senior classmate always tell us

that we are supposed to think

ourselves the most beautiful girl in this group,

to make us confident.

All in all, they made it!!

I was really happy for them.

My birthday !!

Today was my *19 years-old* birthday : ))

It was really awesome !!

At first, my friends told me that

they don't have enough money

since they held the first birthday celebration.

Besides, some of them didn't want come

back from their home.

But somehow they held for me secretly.

To my surprise, at first they only

bought me snacks and wish me

"Happy Birthday", with a camera pretended by hand.

After a while, they bought me a real cake.

What a suprise :))

Ohhhhh, it was really a nice day !!
